Abandoned factories in Nicosia, told in their own non-silent silence
ABANDONMENT is a video project developed in response to the experience of visiting abandoned factories in Nicosia, Cyprus. Preserving the original sound of the location was essential to the work, translating the space’s non-silent silence and allowing its atmosphere to tell the story from the perspective of a place left behind by people. Created as part of the Collaborative Art Practice course at the University of Nicosia.
